How we approach every service
Every piece that comes in starts with a careful visual and mechanical assessment. We photograph the condition on intake, note what the owner has observed, and carry out initial diagnostic checks before confirming the scope of work.
Nothing is assumed from the service tier alone. A Chronograph Service for a watch in good condition and the same service for a neglected piece involve different levels of work, and that difference is reflected in what we tell you at the assessment stage.
We don't exceed the agreed scope without contacting the owner first. Parts that are functional stay in unless the owner decides otherwise.

Accuracy Check & Adjustment
A focused timing assessment for owners who notice their watch is running fast or slow across the day. Measurements are taken across several positions using a timing machine, and results are explained in plain terms. This is a practical first step that helps you understand whether further work is worthwhile before committing to anything more involved.

Chronograph Cleaning & Service
A careful, thorough service for chronograph movements — covering full disassembly, ultrasonic and manual cleaning, appropriate lubrication, pusher and coupling function checks, and regulation. Chronograph mechanisms involve additional parts and interaction points compared with standard automatics, and this service is carried out with that complexity in mind. Every step is documented and discussed with the owner before any parts are renewed.

Museum-Grade Restoration
A meticulous approach for rare and inherited pieces where originality is as important as function. This service prioritises keeping the watch as close to its original state as possible — retaining original parts, surfaces, and finish unless there is a clear functional reason to act otherwise. Every decision is made in close consultation with the owner. The finished watch is accompanied by a detailed written record of all work carried out, observations made, and any decisions taken during the process.
